David Skelton founded Industrial Power & Components in November 1983. David has a long and innovative record in the fluid power industry, beginning in 1964. After a tour of duty with the United States Marine Corps, he began his career with Jack Tyler Engineering Co. Having helped to get several companies up and running, David decided to start his own company, thus Industrial Power & Components (IPC) was created.
In 2002 Matt Skelton took over the helm of daily operations. He began working at IPC in 1986 and graduated in 1991 with a BBA in General Business. Within the twenty years Matt has been associated with IPC, he has worked in all facets of the company, from sales to service.
